This 1884 edition of the Great Controversy is shorter and, comparing it with the later editions (1888 and 1911), it includes all of the closing chapters and nearly everything in the historical chapters. It lacks the Swiss, French, and Scandinavian Reformation chapters. It also does not contain part of the material on Huss, Jerome, the English Reformation, and a little more.
