For various reasons—including education, social media exposure, opportunities (or desire) to travel, and popular culture—many young adults are engaged with key justice and environmental issues in the world today. They are looking for opportunities to make a difference in our world, shaping life choices, tertiary studies, career focus, volunteerism and how they use their resources, even when these are limited. These issues also have growing consciousness and influence among older generations. This offers an opportunity to present our faith and the Bible’s responses to these issues as an invitation to discover (or re-discover) the God who cares “for the least of these” and who sees when even a sparrow falls.
