Women of the Reformation recognised that their new faith was not merely theological—it was also profoundly practical. It changed the way they saw their families and communities and, as a result, they worked to bring about change for the better. They advocated for the persecuted, housed refugees, fed the hungry and nursed the sick. They used their voices to strengthen individuals and the church and to protest against error and injustice.
This new collection of Reformation stories by Suki Goonatilleke, author of Sisters in Arms and As Bright as the Stars, will inspire and challenge you towards a faith that works.
