Satan believed he had won in the Garden of Eden. He had already lured a third of heaven’s angels into rebellion, and now he had succeeded in leading humanity into disobedience against God. It seemed like victory was his. Pain, suffering, and death followed—dark consequences of that first act of sin.

But that wasn't the end of the story.

A Redeemer had already been promised. Even before the world was created, God had a plan: He would step into our world, take on human form—yet without sin—and bear the penalty we deserved. Jesus would take our place, offering eternal life in His kingdom to all who believe.

From the moment sin entered the world, God's love and grace began working to overcome it. What Satan thought was his triumph was actually the beginning of his defeat.

God chose ordinary but willing individuals—Noah, Enoch, Abraham, Moses, David, and others—to carry this message of hope forward. Their stories, and the truths behind them, continue to shine today.
