An exciting book that takes children on an adventure through several books of the Bible and introduces them to using a concordance. As the children “travel” through the Bible, they discover that the linked stories all involve serpents.

First in a series, The Serpent Scroll teaches about the origin of sin and God’s plan for dealing with it. Topics in the back for further study with Middle Elementary age children

Endorsement:

It gives me great joy to recommend The Serpent Scroll by Pastor David Edgren. David has written a very nice book which will undoubtedly appeal to children in language they are able to understand. Written in a simple story style, this interesting book presents to children one of the central themes of the Bible—the plan of salvation in the context of the work and defeat of the one who is the cause of all the evil in this world. There is a need for more books like this one for the purpose of reaching the youngest ones among Christians and bringing the contents of the Bible down to their level of comprehension. I believe The Serpent Scroll fulfills such a purpose. I hope this books will reach as many Christian homes as possible.
